Forever Care Mission Builders
Help support the people who make every rescue possible
Our Forever Angels support the dogs. Our Mission Builders support the people and infrastructure that make the rescue work possible.
Behind every rescued dog is a team
Forever Care No Kill Pet Rescue Foundation depends on caring volunteers, experienced professionals and a small team of paid employees to coordinate adoptions, arrange veterinary care, manage lifetime-care funding, and support the families who welcome rescued dogs into their homes.
We are seeking special donors, businesses, foundations and philanthropists willing to sponsor the operating expenses of Forever Care separately from the donations designated for the dogs.
Our initial goal is to fund three paid positions, supported by volunteers, so we can begin placing rescued dogs with qualifying families:
- Operations & adoption coordinator — placements, shelter and foster partners
- Dog-care & veterinary services coordinator — vet appointments, insurance, care records
- Donor relations & financial administration coordinator — sponsorships, ledgers, reporting
Your contribution as a Mission Builder helps provide the people, systems and financial oversight needed to operate the Foundation responsibly — and helps us keep our promise that 100% of donations designated for dog care are reserved for the dogs.
We will advertise paid and volunteer positions as they open. Roles are designed around people’s qualifications and abilities — retired professionals are very welcome.
Operations & Staffing Fund
First-year goal
$225,000
| Three salaries at $50,000 | $150,000 |
| Employer taxes & benefits (≈20%) | $30,000 |
| Other operating expenses | $30,000 |
| Operating contingency | $15,000 |
| Total | $225,000 |
About $18,750 a month. We aim to secure a full year of operating funds before hiring all three positions, so payroll never has to draw on money reserved for the dogs.
